Subpoenas Issued In Senator Currie Investigation

Federal prosecutors have issued subpoenas to the State Department of Business and Economic Development as part of their investigation into the business practices of Maryland Sen. Ulysess Currie.The subpoenas requests "all documents related to meetings between Currie and the department regarding or impacting Shoppers Food Warehouse."
Currie's ties to Shopper's Food Warehouse are the subject of the federal investigation.
