Police Capture 1 Of 2 Escaped Prisoners

Centreville, Md. -- The Maryland State Police said they captured one of two inmates who walked away from the Eastern Pre-Release Unit in Queen Anne's County Wednesday evening. The other inmate is still on the loose.Police said Billy Gene Dolly, 41, of Baltimore County, and James Allen Cramer, 52, whose last known address was in South Carolina, walked away from the unit located in Church Hill shortly after 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Police said an anonymous tip helped Queen Anne's County Sheriff's deputies catch Cramer Thursday afternoon. He is being held at the state police barracks in Centreville.
Cramer had been serving time for drugs and robbery with a deadly weapon.Police and the sheriff's department are still searching for Dolly. Officials have notified area residents and businesses of the escape. Dolly is white, about 5 feet 6 inches tall and is bald with a blond mustache. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a yellow shirt. Police said he was serving time for theft prior to his escape.Both men are pictured above.Anyone with information about the two men should contact state police at the Centreville Barracks at 410-758-1101.
