Take a glimpse into Annapolis's colonial past on Thursday, September 18th at 7:00 p.m. for an outdoor performance of "Such Fine Folks as These." This is a reenactment showcasing the relationship between Mary Paca and her enslaved maid servant, Moll.Watch as Moll dresses her mistress for a grand supper party, listen in on the women's private conversations, and learn how each woman perceives her role in the Paca household. This one-hour performance dramatizes what life may have been like for two women in the William Paca House.There will be a question and answer session with actors following the performance.
The performance will be held on the William Paca Garden Terrace, 186 Prince George Street in Annapolis. Admission will be $25.00 for the general public and $20 for Historic Annapolis Foundation members and volunteers.Reservations are required, and can be made at www.annapolis.org, or by calling 410-267-8146.
